We got this for small jobs around the house. We used it this past weekend to blow out all the filters and grates. 2 window ACs, 1 heavy duty air purifier, 2 table fans, and the house central intake filters.
It was easy to get started. I haven't had any previous experience with something like this, but didn't find it difficult. It's a good size, easy for either of us to tote around. Hose is pretty generously long, I think, and I fiddled with all the attachments.
I'll update if anything hinky comes up, but otherwise we're both really pleased with this.

I picked up this compressor on Amazon for under $100.00. And it a really good little air compressor. Okay, it's pretty noisy so I leave it outside when I am working in the garage and it is no problem. It has two outlets which should come in handy if I ever want to use two paint guns at the same time. It's six gallon capacity is adequate for my needs. Even my impact wrench and air ratchet will run off it as long as I don't try to go into production. It is rugged and light enough for tranport and is built well. You can bring it up to it's full 150 psi rating unplug it and take it out to inflate your wife's slow leaking flat and it will still be fully charged and inflate the tire effortlessly. Highly recommended.

Don't know why I never owned one of these before. I built a shed this past summer, and without an air compressor and a good nail gun it would have taken at least double the time, maybe two months or more. With this compressor, I was able to finish the job in four weekends.
The unit works as advertised. It builds up the pressure pretty quickly, and it's very easy to adjust. You will need an accessory set, including tubing, as it does not come with all of that. This kit Primefit IK2004-2 50-Foot PVC Air Hose with 25-Piece Air Accessory Kit and Storage Case will provide you with everything you need to get started. It's the one I bought.
Releasing pressure after you're done is a breeze. Just pull on the ring and it opens a valve to release the remaining air. Open the drain tube at the bottom and leave it open so that internal condensation can drip out.
This is a solid product at a good price. You won't be disappointed.

my first compressor arrived DOA. It would no turn on and I wasn't about to start disassembling a brand new out of the box compressor. I filed a return request with Amazon, they arranged UPS to pick it up at my door and two days later I had a new replacement. That's an A plus for Amazon. Now the compressor. I needed a small portable compressor in addition to the old shop standby that I've been using for decades. I've been putting this through the paces that includes 3" framing nails all the way down to small brads. It has enough to cover them all. I have not had any problems with leaks, broken valves or any other issues. I would recommend that if you purchase this kit that you try all nailers included and also any other pneumatic tools that you own. Put it though the paces. I think if you have any issues it will be noticeable right away. At this point barring the DOA compressor that I returned I am very happy with this tool.
