Almost there... don't shred your documents just because you scanned them!

Software iffy, scanner is fast but has a few firmware bugs as well. The scanner can be controlled by dedicated desktop software which works in conjunction with the "cloud" service to process files. I had to go back to previous version of software because files were disappearing, not syncing and showing up as blanks. In going back to the previous version, now what I have in the "cloud" is not exactly the same as what I have on my computer and I'm afraid of losing files as well as the chance that there are probably files missing that I'll just never know of until I look to retrieve them if the IRS comes and does an audit of past years.
The scanner is impressively fast and quite good quality. It does though have trouble feeding the first sheet at times and occasionally wraps and destroys a receipt in it's rollers.

I liked the scanner and the speed of the product, however it doesn't integrate with other apps and you need to purchase the NEAT apps and pay monthly fees. There are other products in the market that you can purchase that will do a better job and no need for other costs.

I actually love my Neat Scanner until it stopped scanning to DropBox. Customer Service told me 5 months ago that they would have an update to correct the situation. I would recommend not getting this for anything other than finances until that is fixed.

It's going back! No listed phone numbers for tech support. Tech support is free for a short period of time, then they want to charge you to fix their own issues.
