I bought this as a replacement for my large stereo set that took up way to much room. I tried playing a CD, and to my surprise it didn't work. You could hear the player working, but no sound. Tried opening and closing the player, managed to get the same CD to play, only to have the problem return when I turned the device back on. Not happy as the CD player was one of the reasons I bought this device. Now I have a nice retro looking paperweight.

The CD player. DOES NOT WORK TRIED MANY CDs will try a few more just says NO record player ok not loud enough radio works well I bought the 1/8" cork for the turntable platter for less noise vibrations n hums bottom line the CD PLAYER DOES NOT WORK UPSET JJ 847 -736-9000.
