Easy to use nail clippers.

I was skeptical about cutting my dogs nails before, after hearing stories of cutting too far and cutting the quick. I didn't realize nail clippers came with a guard to keep you from cutting too much. These were easy to use. Dog wasn't too fond of it, but he had some hot dogs and was fine. Large Labrador, these nail clippers easily cut the nail. Didn't notice, but also comes with a nail file, though I don't think my dog would have sat long enough for me to use the nail file.

These are great. Very sturdy and cuts through thick nails like a hot knife through butter. I bought these and the Safari Professional. These are better for medium to large dogs. These clippers are big compared to the Safari; so I'll use these on my big dog and the Safari on my small dogs. I prefer these over the Safari though. The Boshel seems to have a little better build quality than the Safari. This was a fantastic deal on Amazon; our local store had other brands that did not seem as nice for three times the price. If you have a medium to large dog; buy these!

Very sharp and easy to use. I went online and watched several different videos on how to clip dogs' nails. I was a little hesitatnt but watching the videos taught me how to avoid nipping the nail's quick and I started slowly. Have used several time now and am gaining confidence, which is making it easier for my dogs to submit to this. It's worked out really well and I also bought the Wahl Professional Grooming Kit which teaches how to groom the dog's fur. I will save a lot of money on professional grooming!

I have a 5 year old Bulldog whose nails I would take to get clipped and buffed. $10 after a while adds up so I figured I'd give doing it myself another chance. When he was a puppy I tried a Walmart nail clipper and it failed miserably, plus he wouldn't stay still so I just took him for the groomer instead. This time around these clippers worked great and it was over quickly! I would highly suggest these.

We bought these nail trimmers for my very nervous, split prone jack, Lilly. We have tried everything. We've tried dozens of nail clippers (these would split her nails and often would not cut all the way through the first time) , a dremel (very noisy and stressful for LilIy), more frequent walks on the pavement, and groomers (expensive and her nails would still get split).
These are the only clippers that I have found that cuts through the nail without effort and does not split her nails. The nail guard is very convenient and I don't have to worry so much about cutting her quick. Her nails are very long now so I'm following the instructions and cutting just a little bit off each week to let the quick recede.
I am very happy with this purchase. It has certainly made my life easier and Lilly doesn't seem to mind getting her nails clipped as much the process is now much smoother and painless.
