I use it for toast

When toasting bread, I put this on the stove, low to medium, toast the bread with an electric toaster, butter it (never totally melts), put bread in a plate with raised edge and put this hot press on the toast spanning the raised edges. Close to instant fully melted butter. ðŸ˜
Id like to find a lighter version to eliminate the need for the raised edge plate. Stainless is great and easy to clean.
I find I use less butter as it spreads so well. Possibly fewer calories?

A good breakfast chef knows the secret to crisp hash browns is a hot pan and squeezing the moisture out of them while holding heat from the griddle. This guy is PERFECT. Lay it on the grill to warm it up then press the potatoes as a hot fry sears them underneath. Expensive but it is,stainless steel and I needed one that won't rust
