I like the simplicity of this little gadget; it was easy to use. It does three things but for the price it's a deal. You have the clock with two alarm settings with a back up battery. The speakers will play whatever you get on your phone and the quality is good. It will also charge your phone. I have a iphone 5s and it works fine.

This alarm clock worked well functionally, but the angle of the screen made it impossible to read the display while I was actually in bed. You need to be looking at the clock from above to read the display. I would've returned it but it wasn't worth the trouble, so use it now at work. But I still had to get another bedroom alarm clock, so not very happy.
It took some time to get used to this crazy thing but now I love it.

The light is super bright HOWEVER if you press the snooze bar, it dims - I think there are about 7 different levels of brightness then it finally goes off. I almost returned it until I figured that out. I like that I don't have to remember to put the alarm on. I like that it has two alarms. It snoozes for like an hour after the alarm time and then you are on own. That caused me to be late a few times but now I know :) I love the charging - I have an extra phone charger attached at all times and also have my fitbit charger handy. I use it for both when necessary. I also love the speaker although I don't use as much as I thought I would but still works well.

Other iHome products are more functional and easier to use. In particular, I do not understand why the dimming function does not allow for greater attenuation; in the dimmest mode at night, the display still illuminates the entire room.
