Looks Good, OK Build Quality, Not Secure At All

I bought this thinking it would be a secure mailbox, but as you can see in the pictures, you can easily fish out the mail from the mailbox (any average man or woman can put their hands deep enough into the box through the mail slot to grab all the mail). What's the point of a lock if the mail slot is so big you won't even need the keys to get the mail pieces out?
Other than that, the mailbox is OK. It looks good in stainless steel and black. The product comes with a template for installation. The lid has a pad under it to stop it from slamming shut when you close it. And the locking flap (with windows) is held up with magnets so it doesn't drop open the moment you unlock it.
Overall, the build quality is OK. The gap between the lid and the locking flap (with windows) is uneven, so the whole mailbox looks slanted even if you were to install is perfectly upright. At this price range, I was expecting better build quality, really...
I will be returning this mailbox.

Bad lock rendered the whole box useless

This only looks nice on the outside and cannot withstand time. The lock can easily be open if you open the top where the mail is being dropped into and use your hand to turn the inside lock to unlock it. I noticed this only after a while the lock didn't work with the key because the screws for that lock just broke and I had to open it. What a waste of money. It is ok if you know no one will steal your mail so you can just leave it open. But if you do care for the lock feature, DO NOT BUY.

I was hesitant to buy this after all of the negative reviews about the mail falling out of the hinge gap. But I figured that I really liked it and if that was an issue for me I could just fix the problem myself. It was easy to install, and looks sleek and simple. And the kicker, they fixed the issue with hinge gap. It's a big box, big enough to easily fit 10 magazines inside and I like the window on the front to see if I have any mail. It feels slightly flimsy but is much more solid than other boxes I've looked at or tried. Aside from on of the thick steel boxes this is about as secure as stainless mailboxes get.Side note: the window is covered with plexi so you don't need to worry about weather being an issue for postage.

I was looking for a modern and sleek looking mailbox, that i could lock and that would also keep mail dry. So this seems to fit the bill. It definitely looks good. My alternative to this to get a similar aesthetic and function would have been to get a higher end mailbox worth several hundred dollars, but i did not want to spend that much. For the price, its a good product. It is made in china, so you are not going to get that heavy well-made feel you get for a european brand out of this, but it is a good value.

I have been looking for a solution for our service techs to provide reports after hours without having to enter our office area at night and this lockable box has been wonderful. Previously they had been trying to fit them under the locked door and they were being torn and damaged. This box is lightweight but very sturdy in construction. It was wonderful and a great time saver to the assembly instruction sheet that showed exactly the right distance to drill holes for mounting. It is also magnetic so if I need to post a message or note I can put it right on the box.
