These were just what we expected. It took a couple of hours for my son to get the hang of them, but soon he was running around the neighborhood like a freakishly long-legged bipedal gazelle. I was worried about knee and joint injuries from hyperextension or falling, but I think know those risks aren't so great. He has a lot of fun with them, and he is the envy of the neighborhood - everyone wants to try them. I'f you're reading this, I'd expect you'd be happy with the purchase if you bought them.
