Arrived today, took me maybe 10 minutes to assemble. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about with the lack of instructions since a quick look at the picture will do but it appears they have updated them. Personally I didn't use the instructions, I just put it together. Extra parts?? Not really. I have 6 small pieces that I have a question only for how to use them. Print could be a bit larger but otherwise I am very excited to get busy using it! Seriously if you are looking at getting a thread stand this would be a good idea.

Not impressed with stand. Arrived with sand coming out from weighted bottom. Not a huge issue I just brushed it off and there didn't appear to have any cracks or holes. Spent about 20 mins or so setting up and arranging my threads. The "thread holder" shouldn't even be called that you really can't use the top bar as a holder....a small fart could blow the threads out of place and your left with a big disorganized mess of threads. Basically if your using a single thread machine this is pointless to have and your better off pulling your threads off one at a time off your thread rack/bin because this really doesn't offer much for organization.

This works great for lining my threads up for a project, and it also keeps them from tangling.

Life saver! Embroidery life saver for sure! I use this item as I "think" it sould be used! The set up is self explanatory however the extra pieces I'm still trying to figure out how to use & inquire them for proper use.
So far my spool stand is working great; using for my embroidery thread feed saves me a ton of time when switching colors.
Saves me from winding/tangling issues around thread holder on both sewing & embroidery machine.
This product manufacturer could and should consider more in depth instructions for proper use.
Other than that I use the spool holder the way it fits my needs as is.😊 wonderful to have when your embroidery emblem calls for multiple threads and sequence. Very helpful in that department; pick your colors line them up on spool stand in the order the treads are listed on embroidery design. Switch out is a breeze!
Nice to have this thread spool stand when using a single needle to embellish your project.
I would recommend this Spool Stand for many reasons; efficiency & thread saver!

I was disappointed to find it came without instructions too. Using the picture on the box helped, but the 2 thread guides were a mystery until I noticed the tiny slots for slip them through.(and those tiny screws did not want to go in tight!). I'm not sure if the black rubber gaskets go on the bottom or the top of the spools. I suppose the white spool discs sit on top of the spool.
I saw another reviewer mention thread lubricant. What is that? & where would you use it?
This seems like just what I was looking for, but for many of us, instructions are important.
