For the price, it's really good! Smooth tight tuning without the skipping you get with cheap tuners. The plates are thicker than the stock that came with mine.
If you have an affordable guitar, want better performance but you're not ready to buy a more expensive one, upgrade your tuners and it will renew your internet and extend it for a while. This product will save you a lot of money.

I bought these to replace the tuners on a 42 year old Japanese made guitar. I noticed that the screws were too long for this old, non-standard guitar. I decided to use the original silver screws until I figured out what to do. Once installed the silver screws were not noticable at all against the gold tuner plate. I have a Cordoba entry level guitar in my collection and I like these tuners better than the tuners on it.

Easy install too. I did need to drill new holes for the screws but this was expected and not hard to do. Installation time including removal of old tuners <10 minutes.
