The tether and tape measure mounting bracket are great very well made the tape mount bracket reminds you of decades past when things were built to last a lifetime The rest of the assembly is comfortable and only time will tell. My only problems with it was the tape measure clip is over engineered and no were near the quality of the mount. And although the neoprene tape cover defiantly will stop any scratches when bumping into door jambs it makes a standard 25' tape hard to handle However I don't have large hands Regardless it has already saved me a few times
