Great Clock for a Person who has limited sight and difficulty pushing buttons
R. Beckley•July 18, 2017
My mother in law had a talking watch but she could not see it very well and put it on upside down sometimes. Then it would not work since she was pressing the wrong button for speech. It also had small buttons and was hard for her to push, even when she had it on her wrist the right way. I bought her one of these large button talking clocks and she loves it. There is only one large button on the top. You CANNOT press the wrong thing. She takes it everywhere in her walker and can now hear the time again. She asked for a second one to keep near the side of her bed, so she now has two. This was the only solution left for her and it works fantastic.
What time is it?

My mother has wet macular degeneration, so she has lost all of her center vision. This lightweight little device is perfect for her so she doesn't have to struggle to figure out what time it is. She leaves it at her bedside at night, and next to her TV chair during the day. It's very easy to set and she is very happy with it.
Fun & Function!

I gave this to my 85 year old mother who has macular degeneration..and guess what, she loves it! She keeps this on her table and smacks it when she wants to know what time it is. It's a novelty, a conversation piece but also an easy way to check what time it is, esp if you have low vision.
Exceptionally helpful

Really really really really really helpful for my mother who is 84 and has dementia. She has been better at taking her pills and doesn't call me frantic wondering what day and time it is. She has other assistive aids, a large calendar, a large clock rather two large Clocks with the day and date but this seems to be the most effective tool that I have gotten her.
This is one of the MOST USEFUL aids she owns

I bought this "time telling" button for my Mom (Who is legally blind) and SHE LOVES IT!! This is one of the MOST USEFUL aids she owns! She can simply press the button and hear for herself AND BY HERSELF what the time is! No more constantly asking "What time is it?".... a REAL godsend. It's also very easy to set (by a seeing person), and easy to move from room to room with you. After having one for a couple months, I am totally satisfied and am buying her another one where she doesn't have to carry it from room to room... :-)
