Small but does the job!

I ordered this for my Mom who has Macular Degeneration and could not see the clock in her new assisted living apartment. She would wake up and have no idea what time it was. This was smaller than I thought it would be but works really well. With just a push it tells the time and another push tells the date. It made my Mom very happy!
Works great!!

This worked very well especially for the elderly when they can't see their alarm clocks in the middle of the night and they need to know the time. I have to laugh because it brings back some funny memories of my dad using his before he passed away.
96 year old Grandmother loves this thing!

**UPDATE!**
Both of the button clocks are still working great for my now 98 year old grandmother. We still have a piece of thick gorilla duct tape over the speaker on the clock in the bedroom, so it isn't too loud in the quiet of the night. We did glue a glow in the dark star (the thin plastic kind that you put on the ceiling of a child's bedroom) onto the top of the bedroom clock, so that Nanny can more easily locate it in the dark. That helped greatly.

**ORIGINAL REVIEW**
I have purchased 3 of these. First for my 96 year old Grandmother. She loves it. We actually bought her a 2nd one so she could have 1 on her nightstand by her bed (when she wakes up & doesn't know if she should be getting up or if it's still the middle of the night), & 1 for the livingroom. This is a bit loud, but Nanny needs it to be a little louder in the livingroom when she has the tv on... which is always lol. The 1 in the bedroom we put Gorilla duct tape over the speaker & it's perfect. Nanny loves it so much, she had me buy 1 for her sister. The battery life is great. I get almost a whole year on a set of batteries.
The last one I had the voice had a Norwegian accent…liked that a lot.

I would have like the ability to have a range of volumes to choose from.
I gave it to a friend that has decreased vision. He lives in care facility and it would have been nice to be able to decrease the volume as his hearing is great.
