Saved from certain damage.

I appreciate Tire Minder and their company's customer support and backing of their product.
In less than a year of installation of their product it has saved my truck and trailer on two separate occasions from what assuredly would have been catastrophic damage.
The first time within weeks of installing the Tire Minder unit, coming back from a camping weekend, the unit alerted me to a tire on the trailer that was losing pressure. I was able to pull over on the freeway just as the tire let go of all remaining pressure. Had I not been warned, that tire would have created hundreds of dollars in damage.
The second time was on a recent trip from Virginia to Texas. We had arrived at a campground just outside of Dallas and the next day was in town for a day of sightseeing. While stopped for a bit of lunch I received a warning the right rear tire on the truck was only slightly low on air. When I was able to find an air machine I discovered the valve stem was cracked and leaking. Had I not been warned of this the possibility of a blowout while pulling the trailer"¦. I hate to think of the possibilities.
I have pulled trailers for all my adult life and have counted myself lucky to have not had any great mishaps. But since installing the Tire Minder, less than a year ago, has saved me twice.
Thank you for a great product"¦. Rest assured, they are saving lives out in the towing world.

I had Pressure Pro before and wanted to upgrade and love this system but that is not happening

I was excited to get this system last May. It is only marginally useable for me. I did not know I had to be a dang electrician to hook up the booster. I have had my booster mounted twice by RV shops. I keep losing my signal. I have a 35ft Motorhome. I had Pressure Pro before and wanted to upgrade and love this system but that is not happening. I like the fact I can install my own batteries, the screen is good size, and like that it monitors my temperature also. BUT doesnt do me much good if I keep losing my signal. I am an older solo female traveler and I like being safe but I sure cannot recommend this to my other solo RV women friends
I really like this system

I really like this system. The booster is a great idea and I have yet to have connectivity issues. I have a couple of issues, one is that it is a pain to have to remove the locknut on the back of the sensors just so I have enough room to measure the air pressure with a mechanical guage or to fill the tires with air. I think the flow through sensors would be a better idea. The other issue is that there is about a five pound difference in pressure between the mechanical gauge and the sensor. I run my RV tires at 105 and the sensor reads 110. Tireminder has a reason for this and explains there is a 5% difference, but IMHO they should be spot on. I think I've put about 2K miles on four of them and they have all worked just fine.
Two wheels say they are leaking (low pressure) but checking them with a pressure gauge show they are fine. I think at least two

The system has a lot of false alarms. Two wheels say they are leaking (low pressure) but checking them with a pressure gauge show they are fine. I think at least two of the sensors are faulty. Calls to the manufacturer have not been returned.
Although this is a good idea, we have been getting frequent error messages ...

Although this is a good idea, we have been getting frequent error messages after being on the road for only a short amount of time. The unit does provide accurate tire pressure readings, but then defaults to No5 (no readings) even though we did have the booster professionally installed on the front of the tongue of our 22 foot travel trailer. I would like to give this product a higher rating, because I believe that safety is important. I do like that the unit is very portable and comes in a nice carrying bag. Calibrating the tires with the unit was not difficult.
