I had a Zynex unit that was recommended by my therapy service and I was told the insurance would pay for it, Several months later I get a bill that shows they charge my insurance company $1,600.00 so they could get the max amount from them and a bill to me for 290.00. I was under the impression I would get to keep the unit but after they tried to charge me an additional 300.00 I found out is was more of a rental and I had to return it to Zynex. to avoid additional high charges. They kept sending me overprice batteries and pads 4 at a time and I returned everything and felt lost without a tens unit. I started to do my research and fount this unit. I though gee its expensive but I kept reading good reviews and found it on sale at Amazon and decided to take the dive Let me tell you its worth every penny so far, its good quality has 8 leads with 4 on A setting and 4 on B setting which I can set with different in 12 different ways with different intensity on A and B leads. Its portable and much more powerful than the Zynex unit recommended by the Therapist. I have done 2 therapy sessions lasting 80 minutes each with only one bar on the battery having been used. I'm really sold on this unit and it was money well spent!!!
Not Only Numbs Pain for Awhile- takes it away for days!

I had a cheaper $40 model TENS Unit which would numb but not really my treat my arthritis and sciatica. When I would you put it in a pocket and walk around with it the flywheels controlling intensity could move and up the strength (awwww).
So I used a chunk of 2015 Health Care Spending Account money (thanks to a letter of medical necessity from my pain Doctor) and bought this unit in December. It's very powerful, has a lock feature (no suddenly flywheel shocks) and a touchscreen, but the surprise was that, after using it consistently for a few days at a time, it not only numbed the pain but took it away for days (with no treatment). Better than pain meds and even physical therapy. If you suffer from body pain this unit is worth the high price.
