If you think you don't need this in your life, trust me, you do if you ever eat bananas. I'm not a huge banana person but I buy them every few weeks. This has reduced the bruises on my bananas and reduced the amount of spoilage in other fruits I used to keep in a fruit bowl with the bananas.
Easy to install and when I'm not using it it's almost invisible when folded(I have white cabinets with no trim/skirt underneath but this is really low profile.

We've had this for about 6 months now and it's great! I'll be honest I was a little leary at how good the quality would be or how well it would last given the price but I was pleasantly surprised. We have not had any issues! We stuck it underneath our cabinet and it's heald bunches of bananas without fail!
**Update** It's been a little over a year and this little sucker is still hanging strong! So glad we purchased this!

So far so good. I installed this only with the glue and hung a bunch of bananas on it for a couple of days and to my surprise it stayed attached to the underside of the cabinet. But to be save long term I got some brass number 4 wood screws a half inch long and installed them thru the two screw holes that are in the base of the hook. I am sure that I could jerk it out if I tried but with reasonable care this should stay in place for a very long time. And it holds the bananas just fine. Worked so good that I just ordered two more (yes, I eat a lot of bananas).
Great for saving counter space!

I do not eat bananas that often, but when I buy them I have always wondered where to put them since I have limited counter space. I used to put them in my bread basket until one of them molded and I got fruit flies. I realized I needed a different solution to my banana storage. This hook has worked great. It has stayed secure for the bunches of bananas that I have put on it. I like that I can fold up the hook when I am not using it. Very easy to install and I have had no issues.
Amazingly simple and works wonderfully!

I don't write many reviews, but I can't help but do one for this simple hook. If you had told me I could have a perfectly ripe banana by buying solid green ones and just hanging them, I'd have bought this years ago.
So this is really simple. It's got a glue pad to stick it under your kitchen cabinets. It folds up when you aren't using it. There are a few screw holes in case you need to screw it in, but I haven't needed to. It surprisingly holds up a bunch of bananas just fine. I bought some green bananas and hung them up. I waited until they were yellow(but still with a tinge of green). I just tried one and it's perfect. Sweeter than usual. Just exactly ripe. Seriously, if I thought it was this simple I'd have bought one long ago. Give the thing a try. If it doesn't work out, you're out less than 6 bucks. But I think you'll be happy. I was.
