These votive candles were great for the price! They came in 4 packs of 12 and are VERY heavy. I used some modge podge to decorate half of them with teal glitter to use at my wedding. It worked really well, except when I repackaged them in the cardboard box, they did stick to the cardboard, so make sure you cover them with wax paper if you do anything like that, otherwise the glitter will get pulled off. The packaging is pretty tight to keep them intact so even adding the glitter made it hard for them to fit back in.
I gave them 4 stars because they have kind of a gross smelling bread odor upon opening the package. I didn't notice it when they were lit though but the wedding was also outdoors. I did have to wipe the glass part on some of them as it was kind of waxy before painting them but it was pretty easy to clean them. I was not able to pop them out of the glass like I wanted to though to be able to paint more freely, so I did end up getting some glitter on the wax which was hard to get out.
Overall, great quality for the price and you could probably reuse the glass once the candle fully burns out. We had them lit for about 6 hours at our wedding and they still had some wax left so I think they would definitely last the 8 hours as advertised. I probably would only buy them for home if I found some nice essential oil or something to make them smell better.
