Wall clock

Love this clock, beautiful and lightweight I will have no trouble changing batteries and time when necessary. It looks like it's made of metal yet it's plastic and you can't tell until you pick it up
BADLY APPLIED ANTIQUE LOOK THAT CAN BE FIXED WITH A BLACK SHARPIE FELT TIP.
Indiana Opera Buff✓ Verified Purchase•October 28, 2017
Many of the reviewer's complaints about this clock can be dismissed immediately. Yes, the 12" diameter refers to the entire clock, not the face. That was what I wanted for my small kitchen, so no problem. Yes, the clock is made of plastic rather than metal, which makes it light. That was OK with me as well because you really cannot discern that it is plastic. The clock I owned before this one was very similar and made of metal. Trust me, the part of the paint job which is black looks exactly the same. The problem lies in the "antique" look, which cannot be seen in the photograph. What they have done is taken a fine brush and brushed on gold highlights, which are supposed to resemble scratches. Some of it is artistic, but in the case of the two clocks I received, the artist went overboard. I took a black Sharpie felt tip and covered about 2/3 of the gold highlights. After I was done, I asked a friend of mine (who saw it before I had touched it up) what she thought, and she said that it looked great NOW, but it was a pity that it did not come that way originally. I think that the manufacturer should dispense with the "antique" look completely and just leave it painted black.
Pretty clock. Wish it was a little bit bigger

Pretty clock. Wish it was a little bit bigger. It was a great price & keeps time. Would buy it again.
Beautiful but small

Beautiful clock just a little smaller than I was expecting. The clock WITH frame is 12" not the clock by itself. Still beautiful and quiet.
