Good quality sturdy rack after lengthy setup process

Pros: Looks good, strong quality construction and bolts and nuts, locking anti-theft hardware, good price, fits into 2018 Nissan Titan SV with oem rails easily using included spacers.

Cons: no instructions, paper insert that came with item pointed to website that didn't work. Ended up looking up the model on Google to find instructions & YouTube to find install videos.

Locking nuts with key that go on the rack rails are kind of flimsy and I can't seem to get one un-screwed even when unlocked. Some parts don't completely line up flush on the rack even after full assembly. Should have included small hacksaw for the needed cuts to underside of rails.

Overall 4/5 stars with lowest being for assembly and locking issue on bed rail.
PROS and CONS

1. Quality - I was impressed with the overall quality of the rack. I've owned various types of racks and carriers from Thule and Yakima so this wasn't my first rack. The pieces seemed to be high quality. Once assembled it was very sturdy. All of the hardware was stainless steel.

2. Assembly - The holes on the brackets that mount to the bed/track didn't line up with the track on my 2017 Tacoma. I drilled new holes about 1/4" lower on the bracket. If you go to the company's website you can find the assembly instructions. It's in a PDF file on the bottom of the page for that particular rack.

3. Modificatoins / Suggestions - I've seen many people complain that the have to dis-assemble the rack to remove it from the truck. That's because it attaches to the track system with a T-bolt. I opted to used an aftermarket T-nut (link below) and bolts I bought from the hardware store. 3/8" - 16 x 1" is the correct size for the T-nuts. This will allow me to just remove the bolts and lift up the entire assembly without having to take it apart. The rack is about 6" higher than the roof of my truck. This may be necessary for canoes but I intend to carry only paddle boards and kayaks so may eventually decide to shorten it. The crossbar delivered is also much darker than the color in the pic, which I am pleased with. It's a very dark charcoal color and looks good with the black uprights.

Good quality rack - Fits 2020 Toyota Tundra

Nice quality rack. Took a bit to install, instructions were good, but even after measuring and cutting the under covers to recommended length, found out they were still a bit too long, so had to disassemble the rack and cut them shorter. Recommend doing a "dry fit" prior to screwing everything together!
Used the racks this past weekend to transport our kayak and they worked great. Super sturdy. Had enough clearance for the kayak to clear the fin on the back of the cab of the Tundra.
Only complaint is that they are a pain to slide the T-Bolts into the channel of my Tundra's bed. We only plan on using these a few times a year, so we planned on not leaving them on the truck all the time. But after all the jiggling and fussing and cussing we had to do to get the T-Bolts lined up in the channels to slide into the bed, we will probably be leaving them on most of the time!
Great rack - measurement warning

Excellent rack and easy to install, but NOTE: under-bar stripping lengths do NOT apply to all Tacomas "¦ measure and then cut!! Must vary by year. But again, sturdy rack and looks great!
Sturdy but some flaws

Brought for 2022 Tacoma. People complain about not getting paper instructions. Seems strange that Rola does not include but I found them easily online and printed them out.
It's pretty sturdy, maybe too study for what I need but that's ok.
I had the same issues many others had- lock cylinder comes out (!) when pulling out the key. Fitment of the the angled support brackets is not quite flat. I also found that the lengths to cut the bottom strip were not correct in the instructions.
I also wanted to make it such that I could remove it easily if I wanted to so I got some round wire lock pins to use on the uprights and the base. Again, what I'm using it for is not heavy so I feel good about it.
