Fantastic knife. I bought this to use as a Boline. Yes I know it's not white handled, doesn't have a curved blade, etc. but I lost mine in a move and needed a new one. I have had my eye on this for quite awhile and this will be a great replacement. The overall look of it is stunning. The handle is a well done metal Celtic knot design. There is a big green "jewel" on the bottom of the hilt. Ok-it's REALLY cheesy looking, but I can live with it. The scabbard is black and made of some some of hard plastic with a silver metal tip on the end with an eternity knot design. The knife when sheathed has a very good feel in my hands. Now the blade. I don't know knife terminology so please bear with me. It's marked 440 stainless on one side and unfortunately, China on the other. It's double sided, but one side is much thicker on one side than the other. At the base of the blade there are four little notchy things. Like you would find on a standard hunting knife. There is a heavy two inch long incised/press stamped line at the base of the knife as well. I think they call it a blood line? All in all it's a perfect knife for my purpose. The price is unbeatable AND free shipping! Some people may be tempted to use this as an Athame, but because of the notches, thickness on one side, etc.; I don't think this would be a good choice for that purpose. But that is entirely up to you. I think this a great knife and an incredible value. Good job!

Awesome dagger. It's a bit heavy which is great. Make of real steal it seems.
