I bought this for my son to use when mowing our yard. Our yard Has spots where dirt is more prevelant than grass. Lol. But this works very well for keeping the dirt out of his face. Highly recommended.

Be careful, it only has one size and the size is on the smaller side and won't fit for most people. The size is not adjustable either. I typically buy the smallest hat available but this thing barely fits into my head. I still keep it but I wish it were bigger.

Fits great and I like the neutral color. We bought 1 each for fishing in Alaska but didn't need them because the bugs were not bad. We will keep with our fishing equipment.

I read all the reviews before I made my purchase. They were mixed, but I took my chances, and I'm so glad I did. In Maine people joke that black flies (aka no see-ums) are the unofficial state bird. These things are everywhere and they're ferocious! Thankfully this hat keeps those little buggers off my skin under the netting. However, you MUST put your shirt over the bottom of the net. If you pull the string tight and don't cover it the bugs will get in your shirt and on your neck, and chest. But if you leave it loose and tuck it in your tee shirt without pulling the string, it makes a better barrier so nothing gets in. Others have complained that the sun can make it difficult to see through the netting, and it can at just the right angle, but in most cases just shifting your head or repositioning the netting slightly will make it better. Remember its not like looking through glass. There is a very slight haze because you're looking through thin material. The hat keeps the sun off the netting in most cases, I just wouldn't use this while driving. I use it for fishing, it has made it enjoyable again!

This is the best hat ever!! Don't know why i didn't buy on 30 years ago!! Wore it in Alaska for those pesky mosquitoes......awesome!!!!!
