I HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF HAMMER STAHL CUTLERY, I ORDERED THIS CARVING SET AS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND OF MINE WHO LIKES TO COOK, HAVING LOST HIS WIFE IN A CAR ACCIDENT... HE CAN'T STOP RAVING ABOUT THE QUALITY GOOD LOOKS OF THE SET... HE DESCRIBED IT AS THE BEST CARVING SET HE HAS EVER SEEN... I FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT THE SET I HAVE...

Ok, so the set itself looks like very good quality and has nice weight to it which makes it seem durable so...I wish I could say Im keeping it BUT, Im not and here's why: This is the second set Ive ordered within a week and it will be the second set I return because on the front side of both knives there has been a noticeable, albeit small, brownish/orangeish spot that seems to be embedded in the knife, won't come off, and looks similar to rust. If the set was just for me I wouldn't care that much but Im not willing to spend $100+ on something as a christmas gift that has a noticeable blemish like that. In fairness, I wanted to contact the seller directly to see if I could get a guarantee on a blemish free product on my third try because I like how the knives look so much but I couldnt find a way to contact them directly.
