Works well
Amazon CustomerOctober 26, 2017
Great for what I used it for, but doesn't adhere well to the sides of boards.
On doubles it worked great since it all laysy on the top of the joists, and adheres well, plus will be further held in place wit the decking.
On single joists, it would adhere well to the tops, but the excess wouldn't stay adhered to the sides of the joists when folded down.
This actually worked well for my purposes since the joists I was putting it on were also part of a roofing system for a room below, and had roofing material between the joists and halfway up the sides(making sort of a "gutter" between the joists.). The inability of the tape to adhere well to the sides of the joists means water will be shed away from the joist sides, reducing potential of it laying at, or penetrating, the "seam" where the roofing material adheres to the joist side.
Stapling needed
David HelgetSeptember 26, 2017
Did not stick like I thought it would so I had to staple it on. That being said I'm glad I did it and I know it will protect my wood under the deck. I also liked the look of the black between the boards so you don't see the joist. Will use this product on my next deck as it repels all the moisture off your joist.

Hopefully it will hold up through the years and prevent joist rot.
