Fits 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ)
Jason Hendricks✓ Verified Purchase•March 7, 2018
Don't know if these are great speakers or not, but wanted to write a review to confirm these do fit a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (WJ). Not all 6x9 speakers fit, due to speaker depth hitting the window. You'll need adapters for the wiring, I bought Metra 72-6514, but you'll need to change the connectors on the pos/neg wires, because they are too small for these speakers. These speakers fit the door mounting holes without any modification. Nice and easy to install. The speaker system on the Limited only sends the bass signal to the front door 6x9 speakers, so these are basically just woofers - so don't bother getting 3-way speakers, the don't add any functionality.
Great quality speakers and excellent sound! Becareful, minor modifications might be needed.

Speakers are a great replacement for the stock 3.5" front dash speakers in a 2007 Chrysler 300c. I was very impressed with the quality of sound for a budget speaker (yes, budget for under $50). The highs are clear and crisp and sound just as good as my stock premium speakers. They fit right into the existing hole, HOWEVER, the dome is a bit too high and I cannot secure the speaker cover back as it was. The clips on the grill are barely making contact with the surface and the grill does not sit flush with the dash. You may need to modify yours. I ended up leaving my cover on but its barely holding with one clip secured and is slanted due to the tweeter dome.
clear, clean audio with great bass

I installed this wired in to a Sony XAV-AX100. I've read a lot of reviews that said bass was lacking without amplification. Well... in my case... that couldn't be less true. Bass is completely satisfactory! I'm coming from 10 speakers and two JL W6V2 12" subs. I didn't expect much when going to 4 of these in my new to me truck. It delivered much more than I expected!
I love the component part of it so that bass and everything higher are kept seperate. You can really hear that distinction in all kinds of music. Nothing gets distorted. Bass shakes the mirrors just slightly.
I've done a few custom systems and 4 of these with no amp was better than the 10 speaker Sony Audio Ford Fusion sound system on its own. Much crisper, very clear, amazing bass clarity and modulation. With these speakers it really distinguishes every instrument.
I got these on a Black Friday sale for $30 each pair so I kinda jumped on it exclusively for the price and not expecting them to be as great as they are.
If you already have an upgraded headunit wired into the stock harness with stock speakers I'd say you couldn't be disappointed with these. Even as a stock upgrade with stock headunit maybe. These don't take a lot of power to give great performance.

2013 Ford f150 XLT - Awesome!
Jimbo✓ Verified Purchase•October 14, 2017
I put these in a 2013 f150 xlt. I'm using the 4.2 inch lcd factory head unit (not the upgraded Sony sound and no amp). I had a blown out stock speaker so I got these to replace the front set in the doors. They fit right in without having to modify anything.
These are a HUGE improvement over the stock Ford speakers. Much better sound from the highs to the lows. These pack some kick as well. So much kick that if I really wanted to do things right I should rattle proof the doors. During my hiphop sessions I actually have to turn the bass down on the factory head unit a little to properly enjoy the music. I'm guessing that some of the rattling and distortion is caused by the speakers not being able to properly handle music with that much bass. Get a sub if you want deep clean bass.
I'm not an audiophile and I don't know a lot about speakers. In my opinion this set of 50$ speakers is a great deal to replace or upgrade the OEM set in my F150 which is why I am giving it a full 5 stars.
Last thing worth noting. If you are thinking about placing them in an F150 with the factory head unit, it has been in my experience that I get much better sound while using a CD's or playing mp3s off of a usb stick. I've hooked up my Samsung S7 to both bluetooth and AUX, streaming from Pandora, and for some reason the lows just don't come through like local media. Not sure if the issue is with Pandora, or with my phone. Do what you want with this information.

2004 F150 Ext cab FX4
Walt✓ Verified Purchase•October 12, 2017
2004 Ford F150 FX4 extended cab. The speaker install for the front went as follows. The speaker as shown and received 6X8 did not fit the door cutout. Had to trim part of the larger tabs off the speaker, just the area where the small mount holes are shown. The original mounting hardware was reused. But at 25 bucks a Punch no big deal. Bought the metra 72-5600 adaptor even after reading the reviews, knowing I would have to cut the wires and the lugs were to small for this speaker. I soldered the harness adaptor to the speaker in the correct polarity and the plugs worked. The set of speakers, for the price are worth it, a really good and reasonable upgrade from stock. Update these speakers are manufactured in China per the packaging.
