Have been using my walking stick for a little while now and it has made for longer walks in the morning for me.

I've had some health issues that have prevented me from doing walks so this is something new that I'm doing (getting back into exercising). I'm in my 50s so yes, balance is becoming a concern of mine.

I will admit it took me a couple of days to get relaxed and used to it but I will not be doing any walkabouts without it. It has also recently saved me from a couple of slip and falls as in our neighborhood we've had some recent heavy rains. Most of the sidewalks are covered in mud and I caught myself twice doing a slip instead of a step. Very grateful that both times, didn't come close to going down and didn't slip enough to hurt my back either. Certainly a win-win for me.

Made sturdy and I do appreciate the leather strap to wrap around my wrist - didn't use the first day and found myself dropping it but once I put the strap on, ease of use without dropping it.

I am hopeful that I will be able to get back into hiking maybe by next summer and look forward to using this for hiking instead of doing morning walks through the neighborhood.

I really like the shape, the weight is perfect! I used their guide as to how to decide on the length, for my height! It works! It's a perfect length for me.I'm 5'2", my stick is 48" ! Love it â£ï¸M

Overall I'm pleased with the quality of the hickory twisted 55 inch walking sticks I ordered as they are very sturdy and very cool looking. However because they shipped separately (I ordered at same time), a day apart and one of them is missing the rubber tip on the end I'm not very happy. Paying nearly $80 for both of them I expect better quality and service. They are wedding gifts I was planning to give soon. I wrote Brazos' website requesting the rubber tip and am waiting to hear back. I saw the reviews that talked of missing rubber tips but figured they fixed the glitch. Apparently not. Would like to add more stars and correct my review if they get back to me. Stay tuned"¦
It's sometime later and I'm pleased with Brazos' response. They sent me a replacement rubber tip already. Excellent customer service!

Definitely better than expected. A stick is a stick, but this is sanded, coated and has a leather hand strap. It feels great and it's lightweight, but super sturdy. It has a rubber cap on the bottom, and it just looks nice, but rustic. I added a Paracord wrap to the grab section which makes a perfect hand hold.

I highly recommend!
