... the items that turns out to be a lot better then my expectation
George O. Fuhrmann•August 10, 2017
This is one of the items that turns out to be a lot better then my expectation. Very (and I mean very) bright. The battery time is so good that I have a bunch of chargers plugged into a multi outlet, and it turned out that for the first month or two I was always plugging it into the wrong charger. So I could not understand why it went black, since I was regularly plugging it in. So, I plugged it into where I had been plugging it, and it did nothing. That is when I realized, that all this time I have been using it on the original charge. Besides the adjustability is fantastic (hook and the magnet) One of the best tools I ever had, a must!!!!
Fantastic work light

I bought this over a year ago to throw into my track kit - but it's also taken over the work light job from corded lights at home. It's bright enough to illuminate a large work area, small enough that you can usually get it where you need it, and the hooks and magnet help it stay there. I use it at least once a week, often four or five times for some purpose. It's not only good in the garage, but can be used to read under a tree, and as a limited range flashlight. I find it is better than any of my flashlights for spotting copperheads in the yard. The range is limited, but the area coverage and color temperature really helps see those sneaky buggers.
I remembered to write a review tonight while I was using it - even with frequent use over a year, it still was going strong at the end of a four hour job.

Sturdy, bright cordless work light

This is a well-built work light that's very bright when directed at a small work area. It doesn't put out any ambient light but for my needs (motorcycle repair) it's good. If the magnet was stronger I probably would rate it 5 stars. As it is the magnet works fine on flat surfaces but not so well on curved surfaces like fenders, frame members etc. (a lot depends on where you attach the magnet). You get 2 swivel hooks that work great so there's other options besides using the magnet.
Charging time is 4 hours, which is stated in the manual.
All in all I'm glad I bought it. For the price it's a good work light. It won't light up more than one side of a motorcycle engine but for small areas where you need a lot of light this works great.

It's a good loight but be careful

Easy to put the extra hook on and the magnet if you be careful. The led light part of it seems to be shorter than I had expected it to be . The :LED section is protected by a heavy plastic material that seems to be really durable. The rest of the light is covered with a rubber type material. My only concerns are that I believe the magnetic and the extra hanger each have the partial wrap around as seen in the picture. They seem to be pretty stiff so I'm leery of them breaking as they get older. It's a matter of being careful when putting those 2 accessories on. I hope they do not break because both those parts are handy to have. The ;ight is VERY Bright
Will likely be useful for other uses too

Impressive light for its size. I was looking at much bigger underhood lights and stumbled across reviews of this light. I thought I would give it a try and I certainly think it will meet my needs. Will likely be useful for other uses too.
Dinged it a star as it really needs a more adjustable mount--would love to see some way to extend a hook from one or both end to find another place to hook it on. As-is you are kind of stuck with needing holes a pretty set distance apart. The magnet is a great idea but the hoods on both of my vehicles are aluminum so it doesn't work there. And inside the car there's really nothing metal if doing interior work. I'll probably be able to rig something up with bunge cord but would prefer something built-in.
