Decent underwear, but would not consider them to be "training underwear"

I give the product 4 stars because the quality seems fine and when my two year old is farther along in his potty training, they will work just fine. That being said, they are not what I expected for training underwear. Aside from the side loops, there doesn't appear to be anything that differentiates them from regular underwear--no extra padding or leak resistant barrier, or any other such quality you may expect of training underwear.

They fit alright but my eldest complains that the seams irritate his skin and he started breaking out because of them. He also hated the hole on the front (I know it's supposed to make it easier for them to urinate but he said it bothers his penis). I would NOT recommend these for children with sensitive skin!

I received the training pants, but they were not what I expected.
They don't seem very thick to me. I always thought that training pants were supposed to be on the thicker side, in order to absorb some of the moisture when accidents occur.

We absolutely LOVE these. My Two year old is on the smaller side and I was having difficulty finding 2t underpants for him that didn't feel like they were made from sandpaper. I stumbled upon these and they are perfect! They are incredibly soft, and wash really well, no fading or pilling. They are a little looser in the thigh which is nice because some of the ones we tried were practically cutting off his circulation and he has thin legs. They are a little pricey given that you only get two, but they are worth every dime! I have since purchased the other two available sets, and am hoping that they will release more.
