Exactly what I've always wanted for steaming tamales! I was able to fit 4 dozen in this pot. Filled the bottom with water and didn't need to add more while the tamales were steaming. I'm going to get my mom one since her current tamale pot it way smaller than this one. Only negative is its a beast to wash in the kitchen sink.
