Well worth the money for self priming!! I pump degreaser with it.
John Choi•October 1, 2017
This pump was about the cheapest I can find that was self priming without being submersible. I use this pump at a restaurant pumping degreaser from a 5 gallon bucket. We use about 5 gallons a week. I have the pump mounted on the wall and under the 3 compartment sink. The lift is around 4 feet without any issues. It gets used everyday. I have 2 12v 7amp SLA batteries connected in parallel.
Worked fine

Worked fine. Only used it once so far, but it did the job.
I would be happy to discuss the issue with the seller if someone ...

Stopped working durring its first few days of use... Unable to contact seller.. Not much else to say. I would be happy to discuss the issue with the seller if someone cares enough to contact me.
Died quickly......It was surprisingly powerful for its size...

Update - after about 2 weeks in service and perhaps 2 hours total use, this no longer can do any sort of self-priming and pressure / flow is basically nonexistent.
I was using it to transfer water from some storage barrels, I used a 50-mesh strainer attachment the entire time so it's definitely not anything fouling the valves.
Original review below.....
When this arrived I was initially disappointed - no way was this going to be powerful enough for what I wanted to do with it. I stand corrected.
I'm using this for my rain barrels to boost pressure so I can use a small sprinkler. This does quite well with a 7AH gel cell. I did have to get some 3/8" hose to garden hose adapters at Home Depot. On one side I have a 3/8" hose barb to a 1/2" pipe (plastic) adapter which goes to a 1/2" pipe to garden hose adapter. The other side I'm using a 3/8 compression to garden hose adapter without the compression nut, and a hose clamp to seal.
I strongly suggest a screen or filter - there's often junk floating in my rain barrels and I'd hate to clog the valves in the pump.

This little pump sure can pump it out. I was very happily surprised.
