Solar Powered Toilet
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•October 3, 2023
YUP! A solar powered toilet. I got a rain barrel and plumbed it into my toilet, because we pay for water. In our area we can't use rain water for much, but it is encouraged. With this setup the rain barrel wouldn't fill the toilet, even thou the barrel was above the toilet, in elevation. This is when I bought this pump and installed it to the plumbing with clear vinyl tubing to the plumbing to the toilet. It works great. You flush the toilet and the pressure drops, which turns on the pump. It stops pumping when the pressure goes back up, because the toilet valve closes. Not many of you would ever dream of having a Sun to run the pump, but the electricity is as free as the water.
The only challenge was hooking it up to the plumbing going to the rain barrel and the toilet, which lead to the vinyl tubing and hose clamps to the pump. Nothing else fit, but it was easy to convert to connect the rest.
Good luck on your project.

sprayer pump conversion

Works perfectly so far; installed it on a small 2 wheel dolly. Cut hose from back pack sprayer in middle and connected tank sprayer tube to wand to suction and in stalled 10' 3/8 id hose to the discharge and to the wand hose half. PERFECT.. field king back sprayer with 4 gallons of weed killer almost pulled me over; I am a big 6'4" heavy guy. Tooooo heavy on my back! I now fill container on dolly and wheel near site and spray away. I installed 12 v 7ah battery on cart for power lasts hours. If need the hose can be reconnected to original hose and factory hand pump conversion in a minute or so!

Used the pump for a garage sink I built running on a m18 battery. The thing is way louder than I ever thought it was going to be but works fine.
Good pump overall

Purchased for our pop-up camper. Works well for our camper's sink. It is loud, even with additional rubber grommets added to the mounts, but this is to be expected from any diaphragm pump. Automatic pressure switch works well!
My only issue was about a month after installation (only about 1-2 hours of total runtime), a leak did develop at the seam where the pump body and motor connect. I removed the two screws holding those pieces together and added some Threadlocker to them before replacing them, and I used an impact driver to torque them a bit...since then, no issues so far! The heavy vibration may have caused those screws to loosen after some use, but the Threadlocker seems to be a good fix.

Good OEM replacement for the pump on our 2008 Sun Tracker pontoon that had out. It is noisy but does bother us on the boat.
