This camera insert is a great bag! It pairs perfectly with the back section of a Tom Bihn Co-Pilot (which is an awesome travel bag). I used this insert extensively on a recent trip and loved using it. It easily fit both a Nikon DF and Panasonic GX7 both with moderate prime lenses attached. If I wanted to bring more lenses then I'd just put a few lenses in neoprene pouches and put them in the other compartments of my bag. There were also times when I didn't bring any cameras with me and just used the insert as an organizer within my bag. It was also nice that I could just take out the insert from my bag and all my gear would come out of my bag in one step vs having to take everything out piece by piece. As for the outside pouches of the insert, I found them only useful for things that were moderately flat like pens, your passport, documents, cleaning cloths/etc... If you try to put anything in them of substance I found that it protruded too much in to the inside of the bag which took away valuable real estate for my camera gear.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with this bag. It converts most of my messenger bags in to nicely padded camera bags!

I searched online for months looking for the perfect camera bag. I found plenty of stylish bags that didn't scream "I HAVE A VERY EXPENSIVE CAMERA INSIDE" but they were overpriced and mostly faux leather (leaving me wonder... why the hefty pricetag??). So, instead of spending over $200 for a 'bag that doesn't look like a camera bag' that I didn't like as much as the bags I already owned, I purchased this little gem. It has a nice, quality look and feel, and fits perfectly into most of my shoulder bags- and diaper bags too. In the end, this was the best option for me since I get a really cool, functional little bag that protects my DSLR and 2 lenses (and miscelleneous other items- it has 2 front pockets, 2 side pockets, and one large pocket on the back side!) and I spent a fraction of what I initially thought I'd spend. The best part is that I get to keep on using the bags I already own and love - and know that my camera is protected. I would definitely recommend this camera bag. Love it!!

I am a camera bag junkie. I love camera bags. I have many and I am always searching for the "perfect one". I found it!.. the Ona Roma. I can turn any bag into a camera bag now. it's classy. the interior is so soft. I read other reviews that the padding wasn't that great, but I think it does the job nicely. I have had it for a few weeks and had no problems. It's currently in the third purse since I got it! I have a few item slipped into the outside pickets and the interior holds my Nikon D610 with the 85mm 1.8 or the Tamrom 28-75 2.8 attached.. There is one divider and i keep my wallet and some other small items in that side. I normally don't carry an extra lens. I go with what is mounted on my camera but if I did, there would be room where I keep my wallet. I really love the quality of this bag. I wish it had a removable strap so I could use it without putting it in a bag if i wanted to just carry my camera and wallet.

Perfect! This is definitely not a "roomy" bag so don't order it for that. But it's perfect for what I wanted. Traveling to Italy for 2 weeks so I'm already saddled with a lot of luggage and didn't want to pack my large camera bag around also. This bag is perfect! Quality and construction are great. It is very sturdy and protective. It has just enough room. Technically I could move the moveable center divider and set my camera down in the case but I feel it fits a little better with the lens detached and stored side by side. Multiple slip pockets around the outside but don't plan to store a lot. I have a lens cleaning brush, an extra battery and the charger and an extra memory card. Everything is neatly snug and ready to travel. Very please with purchase.

I have been looking for a good camera bag insert to stowe away my micro four thirds gear for a while now. After a lot of research I settled on The Roma by Ona.

Ona has a great reputation, the dimensions of the bag worked for me, and I liked the fact the the bag closes (magnetically) and has some outside pockets. I wanted an insert that would allow me to fit 2 mirrorless bodies and multiple lenses, and luckily the Roma can handle all this and then some (see full gear report below).

The bag lives up to its billing: the construction is very solid: I don't have any concerns over the durability of the bag. The inside is lined with a nice, soft material that is well padded and protective.

I am surprised and pleased with the interior space of the Roma. I can fit a lot more in it than I thought I would be able to. I added in 2 additional velcro dividers from an old camera bag for a total of 3 in the Roma. Right now I have an Olympus O-MD E-M10 Mark II with the additional grip in place and the Olympus 45mm f1.8 attached; an Olympus E-PL3 body with the fisheye body cap lens attached; the old 14-42mm kit lens that came with the E-PL3 (with a macro converter attached); and a Panasonic 20mm f1.8 lens.

There is still plenty of room inside for more: I can fit a zoom lens and 2 more additional primes. With some creative placement of additional dividers, you really can fit a lot in the Roma. I have it inside a medium sized Fossil messenger bag.

All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and I would buy it again.
