these lights are great. You can see probably over 200 ft
Louis Leonardis•October 6, 2017
I have one of these on my Bike in NJ and I used it everyday to go to work. I worked the nightshift and I use to go through 2 parks, these lights are great. You can see probably over 200 ft., now I'm down FL and I bought 2 of them, 1 for me and 1 for my friend Ellen. They also can be used with the head strap they give you, That came in handy when Hurricane Irma hit we didn't have power for about 6 days. I also like them because cars can see you at night and they come with a tail light. I feel much safer when I ride at night. They are well worth the money. Rocky
If 6 stars were available, Bright Eyes would get them all!

First of all, I currently own and use a Bright Eyes 1200 and a Bright Eyes 1600 lumens headlights. (Two separate recumbent trikes). These lights are truly pheniminal! Very bright lights with a battery capacity so good, I haven't found their limits. I highly recommend them both. (The 1600 lumens light is noticeably brighter, as could be expected).
As an added bonus, the positive comments posted by others about Bright Eyes' customer service and quick responsiveness is entirely TRUE!!! Don actually replied to an e-mail I sent him, within the hour.
Thank you, Don!

Great Light. Great Customer Support

I took delivery of this light in August of 2015 and don't normally provide product comments until having had some time to put the product to regular use. This light has surpassed my expectations as far as brightness and applications beyond the bicycle handlebars. I have found it most valuable for winter snow blowing during nighttime hours as well as general task use as a headband light. I use it primarily during the warmer months for my hybrid bicycle as well as an emergency light when away on my motorcycle. I have had numerous people stop me to ask about it mainly because they only see the small square light frame and lense and become curious as to how it is powered and for how long. I have been able to tie-wrap the battery pack up under the bicycle seat and only use the the extension cable (wrapped around the cross bar) when I am actually using the light. This allows the light itself to be easily taken with me when I have the bicycle locked outside at a store or venue. The only one thing I will note to any users is that they should insure that after they plug the cables together to allow the light to be energized, they pay attention to the dim green light that will appear on the on-off button. At this initial point, the battery is connected to the light but the light itself is off. If you do not actually put the switch through its positions (on-full bright; on-half bright; flasshing; and completely off) this initial connection indication light in the switch will draw down your battery if you do not disconnect within a reasonable time. But if you do run the switch through the positions until you reach full off, the switch will no longer present this dim green light and the light will be truly off. My guess is that the initial green light provides indication that you have a connection with the battery and it is assumed that you will be using the light immediately. Obviously if you are heading out in the daylight for an extensive time on the bike and you hook up, by the time you actually need your light later in the night or possibly next day, it could be dead just from the minimal draw of the connection light. I have had two issues that required Customer Support, one occurring at initial delivery with a velcro strap missing and another more recently (almost 2 years after purchase) with the 120 V. charger, and had responses both times via e-mail from Don literally within minutes. While we can generally expect responses immediately after a purchase, it is not common these days for a supplier to be quickly responding to assist with an issue with a product in the $50 range that was purchased 2 years ago. Hopefully this review provides some comfort to those who are considering this light but may also be questioning the longevity of use and support from the supplier.
15,000 miles of all weather riding!

Great service from company. He found out I was a returning customer and quickly got the order out to me. Not a day too soon, i had previously paid for a competing brand that was close to $300 or more for 1500 lumens. I thought, it would make the 21 mile commute even better. Nope. The pricey headlamp did not work well, i never could get the flasher to work as needed. Bright Eyes lights have a good viewing range and for the amount of the sale, they are great. At over 15,000 miles on my bicycle to work and back in all weather, I need good equipment and these stay lit and do a great job. ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ’ªðŸ¼ðŸš´ðŸ»
Good Light, Great Service

I ordered this bike light after considerable research and reading many product reviews. I'm happy to say I believe I made the right choice. We do a lot of rail trails and have found some of the tunnels difficult to navigate without a bright light. This one will definitely make those passages easier. When the order arrived, I found everything in good order; all the components were in the package. After charging the battery, I tested the light and was quite satisfied until I attempted to install the diffuser lens. I removed the four Allen screws from the front housing, slipped out the glass lens and tried to insert the diffuser lens only to discover the lens diameter was slightly larger (less than a mm) than the opening. I sent an email to AQPP explaining my problem and got a speedy reply from Don apologizing for the discrepancy. A day later, the new lens arrived which fit perfectly. One of the reasons I chose to order this light was the number of reviews I read citing the rapid response and dedication to customer satisfaction from the company. I now can attest to the fact.
