Good socks for sand soccer. However, they could due a better job with the back of the socks. The sand does still get in even thou the velcro has been tightened and it's due to a cut being there below the velcro.

My wife and daughter made fun of these until Mothers Day at the beach. While they burnt their feet walking on the sand and got the tops of their feet sunburned, I stayed comfy all day. And there were many people that stopped and asked where they could get some.

I never wore sand socks before, but my wife bought these despite my misgivings.
My feet did get abused by a day on rough sand and we had planned a week at the beach where we'd be playing a lot. These socks saved the day. It was extremely rough sand, but I was perfectly comfortable at all times in these. The fit was comfortable (I have size 11 feet) yet firm enough that they didn't slip around. It wasn't particularly hot where we were, but they seemed as if they'd be up to that as well.
Wore them 5 days for 2 hours a day and they held up great so far.

A must have for sand soccer. Make sure you get ones like these that have the Velcro around the top to keep sand from going down into the sock. Every kid at the sand soccer tournament that got the models without the Velcro around the top had to use duct tape around their calf and the top of those non-Velcro models to keep the socks both up and more importantly to keep sand out. Get the the ones like this with Velcro!

These are fantastic for beach activities. When that sand is just too hot to walk on or there are shells in the sand or just walking. They protect your feet. They are also good for wading in the surf. I use mine in snorkel fins too. The only problem is sand doesn't stay out of them. Even if you tighten them, there is a gap that ubiquitous sand finds its way into. I ordered a small and I wear an 8.5 shoe. I guess that's expected with a unisex product.
