I have two of these. One, I have had for more than two years. Nice looking, sturdy and the added desk space is a plus. Works great as a monitor riser (although not height adjustable) it was the perfect adjustment for my monitor. My other one is used on my desk at home for a lamp and a speaker to provide desk top space. I also saw someone using it as an espresso/coffee station with k-cups, etc. stored underneath. Very versatile and useful for many things.

I didn't realize the top is perforated. This is a nice surprise because I have a notebook on a docking station and I am using a cooling fan underneath the notebook. There is lots of air circulation around the notebook since I use this for working from home. Plenty of room to stash the regular keyboard underneath when not in use. The other configuration is I have put the notebook, docking station and cooling fan underneath with an extra monitor resting on the stand. Lots of room underneath for this configuration too.

I bought this to use my laptop with an external monitor. It is a very well made product and I was able to fit my cooling pad under the laptop and into the area under the stand. I had to shim under the cooling pad for it to fit, but the laptop alone would have been fine.
I have enough space to store my external keyboard on top of the laptop and mouse under the monitor when not in use.
If you need to have the side width in a stand look no farther.

It's bad posture to look downward at your monitor while sitting at your desk. These raised my monitors high enough to be able to look at them with proper posture. I actually notice less back pain since I've started using them. On top of that, I love the way I can slide my laptop underneath it to be out of the way. Currently I have two stands set up both holding 24" monitors and they are working just fine. My laptop is tucked underneath one stand and my docking station is tucked under the other.

These things are great. I have 2 larger ones I purchased about a year ago and I just purchased this smaller one for the laptop itself. These keep the monitors at a perfect height, which keeps my posture in perfect alignment. My bad neck and back really appreciate the assistance these shelves provide in my office space (where I spend way too much time). I highly recommend these for anyone working with monitors needing a taller adjustment than they can get with the monitor stand itself. Also provides additional desk space!
