Just way too many problems, terrible value for money

Maybe I just got a defective model but this thing doesn't hold even 15 lb. monitor.
First, the instructions that came in the package are for a different model, is picture-based with almost no text (and the text that is present is clearly a very poor translation from another language). Also, adjustment points indicated in the "instructions" don't exist on the arm I received.
Further, it says it's rated at 28.5 lbs but wouldn't hold either my 32" (24 lb) or even my 27" (15 lb) monitor up. Since the instructions show the wrong locations for the tightening screws I tried adjusting the ones that made the most sense but seemed to do nothing. My smaller, lighter monitor would pivot downward toward the desk and the larger, heavier monitor would sag down so that the bottom of the monitor was resting on the surface of my desktop.
Finally, the rubber/plastic (seems to be a rubbery plastic?) piece that covers the wire channels on the underside of the arms (to hide the power/video cables running from the monitor) broke completely the second time I removed it and I would no longer be able to hide wires there.
Am requesting a return from Amazon today, recommend staying away from this unless it happens to be on sale for ~$50 and you have monitors under 12 lbs.

Worked great with my Surface Pro 4 and secondary monitor. Using this on my standing desk. Awesome.

If you like your bottom monitor one inch off your desk. this is for you.
Okay for light duty stuff. Could be a better value.

It is lighter duty materials, thinner and shorter than the Ergotron it is compared to. Works but I am not happy since I had a 24" Asus and 27" Asus monitors and you can not stack those two on this arm setup. I am using them side by side for now. Will probably sell it off used. It is really only going to support 24" max if you want to stack them. Has no wiggle room at all and tilting, pulling etc will not hold up well. I have a single Ergotron arm that takes a lot more pulling and pushing easier than this does. Removing a star for that.
Word to the wise: It is after all a different brand, no matter the similar "looks" to Ergotron. Other folks have posted it is virtually the same and they are wrong. Amazon really needs to take out the few photos showing Ergotron arms in the silver model of the Halter stand. On it's own it will probably be fine for light duty work and could even be a bit cheaper to be a better value. Removing a star for the higher than deserving price.
