Surprisingly solid in both the fabric and the electronics. The fabric is sufficiently pleasant that I use it (under my work desk) exposed, not covered with a rug. I ordered the smallest size, which was nominally 180W. I measured it to draw up to 250W, which is just makes it warm up faster. Another pleasant surprise is that the electronic controller appears to be a thermostat; I assumed it would merely adjust the power rather than the temperature.
