The package was sealed when it arrived in a timely fashion. The product has excellent texture and taste.

I bought this product specifically to make caramel corn.
And I am so glad I did. We eat a lot of popcorn in our house,
as my husband is diabetic. While he must stick to buttered
popcorn, I gleefully melt about 8 ozs at a time (with a little
tap of butter) and pour directly on my big bowl of (buttered)
popcorn, stirring well to mix. It's so rich and flavorful, you will
have no reservation on sharing your caramel corn with company
or even making up a big batch for a personal gift or for
the holidays. . and the like. Just let it completely cool before
bagging. It's a real treat--And yes, it is that good. Don't worry
about buying 5 lbs at a time because you can go through it
quickly, as you become the favorite kid on the block!

I was surprised by a pecan tree on my property, and got this caramel to make pecan caramel patties. OMG!!! I can't tell you how wonderful they were, or how proud I was to send them to family and friends. AND then I decided to do some pecan caramel monkey bread, and that barely made it to the next morning. Why would I make my own when this is available and it's so darned delicious??? I'm buying another brick because I don't want to run out!

This stuff is to die for! Used it for a caramel apple bar at a Fall Harvest party. BIG hit! One 5 lb brick in a crockpot on low for one hour makes enough caramel to drip over (at least) 50 large apples. I am generous! I sliced the apples (with a handy dandy apple slicer) for each person as they came up. Mixed Granny Smith and Honey Crisp apples"¦.delicious!
6-8 slices in each bowl and drizzled a generous spoonful of caramel. Provided chopped nuts (peanut/pecans), mini M&Ms, shredded coconut, chopped Oreos, chopped Heather bars. Choose your own! I went overboard!
It was awesome! I totally recommend this product! People were impressed and coming back for seconds!! You will not be disappointed!
