makes the tool useless where accuracy is critical
Amazon Customer•July 2, 2018
Tool was not set to Zero, so all measurements are off. Clearly, it was a defective tool that was shipped without inspection at the factory or by the seller. This, plus the fact that the ad doesn't state that the accuracy is + /- 7%, (It's on the box), makes the tool useless where accuracy is critical. Past the point of being able to return it; so, I'm stuck. Will not buy this brand again.
Good accuracy, good value.

It works as well as any beam wrench, and has a good spread on the scale 0-80 measures 1.5 inches which is a good flex width considering the overall length of the wrench. Accuracy seems good, it is close to my CDI T-handle clicking torque driver, tested against each other. (They have the same torque range, I bought this for places I don't have 6 inches of clearance for a screwdriver-like T-handle.)
The Presa 3/8" version almost seemed like a counterfeit and crammed the whole scale(0-1000) into just one inch despite being 30% longer.(meaning the 3/8 should have a +-1.9 inch flex)

Great tool.

Great torque wrench. Bought this to check and maintain my Wheeler FAT wrench I use on critical gun parts. FAT is more convenient than using a beam wrench but it must be correct.
cool man

Great contrast between Indicator and torque figues

The orange indicator makes it a great tool, I have another brand of the same style of torque wrench, but I can never tell if it's exactly where it should be because the numbers and indicator are black. This has that contrast and makes it very easy to tell how much torque you have, Mine snap between the weld that holds the ball you pull on and the plate with all the torque figures. but I can just pull on the torque plate and it works, Actually it feels better to me, I like that for pinion preload checks.
