I do like this product although I agree that the packaging is definitely wrong for the consistency. It is really hard to get the product out of the bottle without warming it up. A round jar with a wide opening (like a facial cream jar) would be best. I use this overnight on the ends of my color processed hair. Something that kind of bothers me is that there is no list of ingredients on the bottle.

I like this oil, why didn't it come in a more convenient jar?? I had to melt it down, and transfer it to a wide mason jar. I mean really Dr Adorable...This bottle was NOT adorable!!!

I love this stuff! Found out my hair was reacting negatively to coconut oil, so I needed to replace it with an oil that penetrates well. This is amazing, and I wish I'd found it sooner. Will repurchase for as long as they sell it. I use it as a pre-shampoo oil treatment, putting it on my hair 8-12 hours before a cleansing session. I also use it to seal in moisture after applying my leave-in conditioner and cream.

I really like this Oil. I was a frequent coconut oil user, and saw the reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I like the way it soaks in and doesn't sit onto of my hair. It is also a good oil for sealing in my moisturizing products when using the LOC method. I agree with the other reviews that the packaging could have been thought out better, but all I do is take the top off the bottle, with the bottle upright I squeeze the side of the bottle forcing the product out the top, then I take my finger and remove as much of the product I want, which is usually about a dime size amount. The harder you squeeze the bottle the more product that comes out. It's not really difficult to do, but it is just a little inconvenient to have to do it that way. I suspect in time I'll either end up cracking the side of the bottle or the product will be too low in the bottle to force out of the top, or both, and then I'll have to come up with another solution, but for now that way is working fine for me.

It seems to be very moisturizing though I don't know if I agree with the claim that there is no greasy after feel. It feels greasy. Especially in the hair. But it made my hair very shiny and is a great substitute for coconut oil. It's very similar to coconut oil in that it gets solid at cooler temps. It doesn't have the smell though, and works better in my hair than coconut oil.
