The bag was received in good condition, but as I was unpacking it I had to laugh when I noticed that the cheesy SOG "unit patch" was installed upside down on the end pocket.
This was funny because of the comments made by other reviewers about not caring for the patch and wanting to remove it.
Othe that the patch, the bag is reasonably well-made.
The bottom could be a bit thicker, but for the money I'm satisfied that this will hold my combat first aid supplies and a few rifle mags just fine.
I wish this bag came in flat dark earth (hope SOG reads this).
A beefier shoulder strap would be good for the folks that load this up with ammo, as Im sure the strap will curl and cut into the wearer's shoulder.
Im only keeping about 3 lbs in here, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

If you need a one cavity bag, this one is comfortable, spacious and looks to be made well. Ammo clip pockets are tight, making it hard to insert and retrieve, but then again I would not take this into combat with me. Why? No enough compartments on the inside. Maybe would use it as a med-pack, but then again, not sure I could a complete kit in there. Good for day running, drop things in, but lack of interior compartments makes everything lump together making weight distribution non existent. I use it in the car, sling it to the back of passenger chair, I can easily retrieve chargers, maps, whatever from that position without it being in the way.

This is a great grab and go bag. There is adequate room for a handgun along with the 30 round mags for the big gun. Also room for the miscellaneous stuff.

I use it as a small, basic tool bag. Bag is too small to use as a day bag or lug anything meaningful around and I don't walk long distances with it. I could shove all my First Aid stuff in it if I felt that I needed to. Multiple pockets are nice for separating nails, screws, etc. Ditched the SOG sticker and it looks great. No problems so far.

It could be larger, strap longer, etc. but I'm happy with it. Was thinking about getting another one to replace a different satchel.

It was smaller than i expected. I could fit 6 30rnd Mags ( i use Hexmags) 2 pistols and a small med kit. I wanted something like a range bag add on for ammo, mags and my handguns in stead of bringing multiple cases. This is OK as a companion to you AR if you need to grab and go. There is enough room for Mags, Med Kit and additional boxes of ammo. Plus maybe some water bottles and 1 or 2 pistols. I would not over pack it since its small and you need to a little bit of room to get to your stuff quickly. Its good material and looks like it will hold up to some abuse, but i was expecting something just a little bit bigger. Check out some youtube video's before purchasing to see if this is really the size you need. I still like it because its SOG and it was cheaper than 5.11.
