Don't Display Your Contact Information to the World!

This is a great alternative to traditional luggage tags. Not only is it sturdy and impervious to weather, but I much prefer having my contact information guarded by a QR code than to have my address and phone number on display to everyone hanging around the baggage claim carousel at the airport. I got one for myself and another for my spouse. They were easy to set up. I highly recommend them for frequent travelers.

I was skeptical on getting this luggage tag, but after reading up on it and where it was developed and produced, I decided to get it and give it a try, when I finally got it pretty quick, the set up and activation was very simple and quick, after activating the tag, I did a quick test and it works fine, I did get an email stating that the QR code was scanned and my basic info was shown.

I've got four of these tags at this point, and they're doing their job. One thing I'd suggest (which is also published in the instructions with the latest tag I received), is that you put a dab of glue (I used red thread-lock) on the screw / cable assembly. The clasp is so small (by design) that a lot of jostling and movement typical with a flight and handling could loosen the loop. Expect that they'll bend a little and wear as they take their journeys - Its a slab of thin metal - not a concrete brick.

I'm giving it 5/5 just because setting this thing up took an hour and a half but worth it. I'm good with figuring things out had some help from there FAQ page but just making sure every setting and me getting notifications was correct took me the longest. Something I didn't see a lot in reviews that I asked myself was "does it have the name, address, cellphone paper just Incase" & indeed it does which I like. It's really heavy duty and I test tracked it with my boyfriends phone off WiFi it asked to see location he said no so it gives me a cell tower location which our closest I suppose is L.A. this was a very well thought idea & they should make an app for easier access.

i downloaded the app, read all of the instructions, and read the reviews...
this item fell off my luggage on the first trip i took with it... well that did not work.
i even took a wrench to the toggle to tighten it, and unfortunately luggage takes a beating, and this item did not last for my international trip.
ugh, and its too late for a refund. i am guessing the gps tags that fit inside the luggage could be better - tho, if someone finds your bag, i thought that an outside tag would be better as i have experienced someone taking my bag at the luggage return carousel...
