Works fine except parts of AAC tunes occasionally make a horrible noise for 5 seconds. I now have to take these folders and convert to high resolution MP3 tracks. Thank God I've got a Macbook that allows me to do convert trks. The construction is solid. I use folders with albums on the micro chip. Does this player accept 128gb micro flash drives? The amazon ad says so but the player manual doesn't. Unit has a great sound. My lps converted to high res MP3 sound fantastic. This unit even reads my sound blaster tic pop remover codec. Something my iTunes doesn't do anymore. I recommend this player. Battery life is also incredible.

This review comes after about a week of use. I bought it primarily to listen to music while at work and for podcasts while commuting. I work forty hours a week, prefer leaving it playing throughout my day, and commute between one and a half to two hours a day, given traffic. So in general on half of a single charge I was able to get about fifty hours of play without issue. This is actually a pretty decent mp3 player. The sound quality is nice, it's very light weight, and the interface is easy to use. Installing music is also as simple as dragging onto the mp3 player's folder when you hook it up through the included usb chord. There are two downsides though. For one the only media software I found useful for creating and transferring playlists to it is Sony's Media Go so, if you use ITunes or Windows Media Player you're outa luck there. You can do this through the device but since it uses the ipod's button click interface for navigation I'd not reccomend. Also the usb chord, which is also how you charge the device, is really short. Additionally, and this is debateably given you'll be charging this like once or twice a month depending on how much you use it, the thing doesn't come with an ac adapter so you'll either rely on a computer for charging or buy yourself such an adapter to charge in an outlet. But that charge time is only two to three hours and needs to be done so little, even if you're a heavy user like me, that it's not really a problem.

Has 2 folder selections which is awesome.. I'm able to shuffle the internal folder.. The micro SD card works well with this player.. Can repeat files on the setting the card folder... I purchased the AGPtEK micro sd card for this player Plenty of space for all my music.. This player has a equalizer with custom settings .. I'm able to carry all my music with me in this small quality player..

Solid construction, excellent sound for the price range. But this was my 2nd unit, the first had a defective hard drive. Also, the controls are difficult to adjust while walking or exercising, even the volume cannot be adjusted directly after a short elapsed time, when the unit goes into stand-by mode. Lacks the spinning wheel control of my classic iPad or the Sansa Fuse this unit replaces, it needs it. But it does sound much better than the Sansa and somewhat better than the old iPad. So I put up with the inconvenience.

I've only used this product for 3 days. The battery still has about a 3/4 charge - and that is very good. The manual for it, which is available online at [...]. It is very thorough in explaining the operation of the unit. The developers show a great deal of concern for supporting their product, both by the detail in the manual and by a couple of emails that were exchanged regarding their website.Sound is great. I don't have to wait for indexing when I add new songs - as I did with my old Coby. It's a very good deal for the price. We will probably buy another soon for my wife.
