Not only does this protect my child from the sun, you also cannot see in through the outside. Love it!
Great idea; excellent quality; not for small cars.

I like the idea of these shades. It solves the problem I've had with other shades--the inability to roll down the window while installed. The shades are well constructed. The elastic is strong and the stitching appears solid. Each side of the shade is a different material. I'm not entirely sure why, or which side was supposed to go out. The storage pouch is also heavy duty. It will last a while. All in all, it appears to be a good product.

Why only four stars? First, the instructions which accompanied the shades did not describe which side of the shade should face out. Perhaps it doesn't matter, but if not, why make each side of a different material?

Second, even the smallest size shade was far too large for my car. I have a Nissan Versa Note (a sub-compact "station wagon") with approximately square doors on the rear. There was far too much extra material.

Third, because of the shape of the door, the bottom of the shade on the part of the door furthest from the hinge would not stay in place--it kept slipping up. Had the size not been an issue, I would have fixed that problem with a bit of Velcro.

If your door is larger, and shaped properly, these things would fit like a glove. For my car, they just didn't work.
Great for keeping my dogs cool!

I've been using these sunshades for about 2 years now and have been very happy with them, and they are still holding up well. I bought these to replace the type of shades that rely on static to cling to the inside of the windows.. never had much luck with those, and of course you can't open the window when one of those is attached!

For these sunshades, I use the 'Regular Rectangular Window' size on the rear doors of my 2019 Subaru Forester. They fit very well (with probably a little extra fabric to spare) and are easy to put on and take off. I like that I can still put the windows down even with these on. They also don't make much noise when the car is in motion, whether the window is open or closed. Highly recommended!
Could be smaller and better

I installed the square version on my 2012 Kia Soul and the contoured version on my woman's 2013 Hyundai Tucson. This review generally pertains to both kinds, but if there's something unique I'll note which version it applies to.

Pros:
- Does an excellent job of sun shading. There is a noticeable difference in sunlight with or without them on.
- Keeps interior warmer than without. Since these are for backseat, it's nice to not have to run the AC for awhile before putting your child in their car seat.
- They don't pop off when the windows are rolled down. Actually held in place, surprisingly.

Cons:
- The fabric is way too stretchy. Since they are stretchy, I'd have wanted them to be smaller, so when stretched it's a nice tight snug fit on the window. The contoured version, especially, was a pain to keep in place due to this.
- Because of the point above, they flap in the wind, and it's quite audible even with all the windows up. I actually had to take them off both cars because they were that loud.
- They don't hold securely. Many a times once the door is opened they would pull up, meaning I'd have to go back and readjust downward. I had to pull the contoured version over the door handle and halfway down the side of the car just to hold it in place. Some mechanism for holding it down (I read a reviewer used magnets) would help.
- BLIND SPOTS!!! I check my blind spots before switching lanes, and you can't see squat on the driver's side. Another reason for taking them off. Passenger side is good, but driver side is untenable.

Overall, not a bad product. There probably should be a few different sizes to fit different vehicle classes. Your Escalade has a much bigger window than the Soul, but they both have to use the square version, so it has to adapt to that. However, I think having a smaller size that's a better fit would make this product much more usable.

I wound up having to take the driver side one off on both cars, but left the PAX side since my baby is on that side. Looks dumb, but till I figure out how to either secure them better or suck up the blind spot issue, they're staying off on driver side.
