This is really a beautiful tea pot. The copper is pretty thick and the hammering looks like it is one of a kind. It doesn't have a whistle when its boiling but it heats water twice as fast as a normal steel teapot. The handle is fastened well. I highly recommend.

Beautiful looking tea kettle - but even though its made to be able to use - it is poorly made and I can only use it for decoration only - The exterior of it got spot rust from water drops after 2 days of use. The interior silver coating is flaking off and rusting after 1 week and now rust is pouring into tea and oatmeal.
I would love this tea kettle if only it could be better quality. Had high hopes but for $50 ... I have to say I hate the purchase.
