The screen is very bright and large. It reacts quickly and is very accurate. I like how it turns green when the right note is reached and in tune. While I don't often use a plugged-in tuner, it's nice to have the option. The built-in mic is reasonably sensitive. Using AAA batteries is cheaper and more convienient for me that my less-accurate, harder-to-read clip-on tuner that eats 2032 batteries. Providing note tones and a standard reference like 440hz is fairly useful to me. The metronome is a bit limited and I have a good one already, so not a big deal for me. This tuner helped me discover a pitch difference between my guitar and usb interface/software when I recorded and then played back a loop. I was able to fix the difference within the software with this significantly better tuner than the cheapo clip-on. I'm pleased so far.

The tuner appears to be more accurate than the Korg of the same size, and doesn't drop out like the Korg. 2 BEST features are 1. fine tuning; the red to green flashing tells me I'm not 100 percent in tune and 2. unlike the Korg, this has a line in and line out for adding to the effects chain. The only noise this sends to your amp is when you switch functions. CONS: The item comes way overpackaged and I wish the metronome function came through the amp. These are mild detractions. Oh...and the unit doesn't fit into the sleeve that came with it...for that purpose. :)
