I've always been insecure about my feet being super hard. I've tried a foot file before from the store and used it every day, but it wouldn't do much...plus it broke not too long after. So far I really like this device. Previously I had bought a competitor product that was listed as a best seller for about $20. It wore out in about 6 months, was replaced by the vendor and the replacement wore out in 6-8 months. So I'm really hoping that this brand will last at least a year. Giving it 5 stars for now and hoping time will tell me that this is a better product. My feet are so bad that I use this almost every night. The callus remover along with Betty K Newfeet cream has healed the cracks in my heels.

Far Superior to Emjoi

This remover is so far superior to Emjoi's version, they are not even in the same league! My old Emjoi was battery operated, to be fair, and lost power when the batteries ran down so the long lasting rechargeable power of this one is a relief. Their rollers are quartz and last far longer, not wearing down and having to be replaced as often as the regular ones. But the best improvement is the convex roller shape. It is so much more effective on that space between the ball of the foot and the opposite side which is a flat area. No matter how I flex my foot the flat roller did not take that callus down like the Own Harmony one does. They also recommend doing this everyday for a week to get to where you want to be rather than just one big grinding session every once in a while. Well, duh, why didn't I think of that? It is the best advice!
And finally I only discovered Own Harmony when I was looking to replace my burned out Emjoi. It is so much more affordable and came with more rollers than the Emjoi equivalent so I thought why not try it? I read about the convex roller in the reviews and thought that sounded like a good idea. It's actually a brilliant idea and all rollers should be convex now that I have tried this. I know it is a small thing, but some calluses really hurt and when your feet hurt, it's not a good day. So do try this out. The folks at Own Harmony are super nice and actually follow up with you to learn if you are happy with the unit. (And no, I was not given this unit. I paid for it and decided to post this review because it is so much better than what I had been using.)

I just got this, but already I love it. I had a different one that died after less than a year. But even when that one was new it never worked as well as this one. It works great and took a lot less time to remove my calluses and did a better job than my old one. Highly recommend this product.

I don't normally leave reviews for anything other than books, since I don't want you to know my personal business. Most particularly, I don't want you to know about my dry, cracked, frankly nasty heels.That sort of information just doesn't go with my image. But this product is amazing and works way better than even spa pedicures, which New York City specializes in for $50 and more a pop. I have only used this product twice but I'm already envisioning how much money I will save now that I don't have to pay a pedicurist extra to use a hacksaw on my feet...just to make me look presentable in flip flops. Well, enough said. More than enough.
