I purchased this for my Nikon W100 and it works perfectly. We like to float around on the Chesapeake Bay on pool rafts and the Bay water isn't as clear as pool water. If I drop the camera into the bay, I would probably never see it again, with the currents and all. This little strap supports it perfectly and it is brightly colored so you can see it very clearly, even from a distance. Highly recommend!
Great idea if you're going to be taking pictures in and around water.

A group of us went on vacation and we had 3 waterproof cameras between us.
I bought this strap, one of the others bought the orange float strap, and one didn't have a float strap at all.
I tested this out in the water with my camera (Olympus Tough 8010) and it was buoyant enough to keep the strap at the top of the water for retrial if dropped.
When swimming it did not slip along my arm and felt very secure as I was taking pictures. The orange strap a friend had was sliding all over and floating up off their arm. The camera without the float strap was actually dropped at one point and they had to go diving to get it back as it was in about 15ft of water.
Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

The camera float works just like the description. I purchased it to go on my underwater digital camera. It does prevent sinking and an added bonus is that it made a nice cushion for the camera to sit on while lounging by the pool.

Great product. Very sturdy construction. The loop size is just large enough to fit snugly and not fall off but not too tight. I love the color - visible underwater. Easy to hand off from one person to another while snorkeling. This is not a floating device, but makes your camera visible if it falls off by floating just above it. SO it does not pull you up while snorkeling or diving, but lets you know where it is if it falls off. Just what I was looking for.
Does the job, but concerning construction.

It works! Tethered my iPhone 6s Plus inside a waterproof case to it and it keeps it floating! The snap feature means you can fasten it around your wrist for swimming secure. We also attached our GoPro to this and it was perfect. I downgraded a star because the string that you attach to the phone really seems just like a string. I'm always watching it because I'm afraid it'll break or snap out of the plastic buckle... Then my phone is gone! It seems like an unfortunate design flaw for something otherwise so sturdy.
