if you're looking for cute capri style stretch for under a dress/skirt, do not buy these. they are PANTS. "cropped legging" is not a good description for these. My daughter is in a 5/6 and they go down to her ankles.... And yes I checked the Children's Place size chart and the Amazon size chart to compare. Not really happy, but hopefully we'll be able to wear them.

Our daughter does not like jeans, so leggings are a staple at our house. I typically run to Target and grab all the black leggings I can find, but someone beat me there this year. We used to buy Children's Place leggings when she was younger, but haven't shopped there in awhile. Found these and decided to give it a try! Thankful they came in, just in time for school to start next week. The fit is as expected. Not quite as thick as Cat & Jack, but with a long shirt, should be fine. Plan to order more soon!
She can still wear a 10-12, but ordered up a size (14), in case she hits a growth spurt. She's around 80lbs, and 64" tall. They are little longer bc of that (hit the bottom of her calf), but will shrink a little with washing, I'm sure.

These are cute and good quality... however, I received one pair (black) that was capri and one pair (white) that is full length. I am keeping both because I need them for a special occasion but am not happy because now i need to order white capris again.

I found these leggings after searching for "girls capris". I was disappointed to receive them and find that they were barely above the ankle. They didn't even fit my daughter like cropped leggings -- too long for that, let alone capris. I returned them and am still searching for actual capris for her to wear under dresses and skirts, rather than long leggings.
They are sized just like the ones ordered from TCP

I needed the white ones for a costume. When I make costumes for my son I use the leggings from The Children's Place. I make costumes through out the year for different dress up days for school. I usually buy them directly from The Children's Place but this time I didn't have much notice so I bought them Prime from Amazon. They are sized just like the ones ordered from TCP. Both pants were exactly the same size.
