Works great. Although it is difficult to see in the picture, the white band is a band of sticky tape. On the other end of the roll, is a plastic flap about 2" wide. The combination of the 2 makes a tight seal. I was able to install my floor with no problems. Wonderful product and I highly recommend it.

I wish it unrolled top up and had printed grid lines on it like some wrapping paper. Otherwise a good price for decent price. A fraction of the price for the stuff the orange box store has.

Great price for quality underlay. There were a couple small lengths that didn't have self-adhesive on it, but since we were taping all the seams anyway, we didn't mind. This was cheaper than anywhere else I found it in store. It shipped well and didn't have any damage when we received it.

Installed under my new laminate floors on the main floor of my house 850 sq ft. Worked great over multiple surface areas (linoleum, tile and subfloors). The adhesive was helpful for setting the underlayment in place and we taped over the seams after we laid down a row. I definitely recommend that you install the underlayment as you go rather than the whole room to keep it in tact. Not sure if this helped to muffle any sound since our floors were pretty thick (12mm) but it definitely adds a "cushion". Very pleased with this product and we saved a bundle ordering it from amazon.

This works well and has a vapor barrier and all that, however, it makes my wood floor a tiny bit squishier than I would have preferred. But nobody else notices, so I guess I'm just picky.
