Saved me money

I was doubtful I would see a difference in my electric bil but it actually made a small difference. A little tough to install to a perfect fit.
Very Efficient

Easy to install and clean to work with. Discarded my old water heater tank and old fiberglass hot water jacket. My new hot water tank is energy efficient, however when I turn down the temperature on weekends and go to our cabin upon returning and putting the temperature back up it takes several hours to reach desired temperature. I installed the foil jacket and found that even when I turned down the temperature and returned 3-4 days later the water was still rather warm. Within an hour the Tank is back up to the higher temperature. New tanks are more energy efficient but there is still a good amount of heat loss. Just ordered another foil jacket for our cabin as well.
No complaints, hard to tell how much effect it has overall

Hard to say if it's had any effect (I haven't monitored propane usage meticulously), but it was easy enough to install. I've only ever messed with fiberglass wraps before and this was much easier because it's thinner.
Great product and easy to use

Great product and easy to use!! Not sure yet how this will effect electric bill, but it only makes sense that it will. Time will tell
Hot water out of faucets heats up quicker--less running to get useable hot water

So far so good. Took a while to install due to water heater straps around water heater. Comes in two pieces, top and bottom. It took a lot of custom cuts and taping. I had plenty of aluminum tape from a previous project but even without it, there would have been plenty in the kit to complete the installation. For my 50 gallon tank, I still had several large pieces left that I used to wrap the pipes coming into my cold garage.
It appears to be doing it's job. The water in the far bedrooms and kitchen sees hot water quicker which should also mean we're using less water. The water jacket itself feels warm to the touch so no doubt it's doing what it's supposed to do.
This insulation replaces an ugly and unhealthy fiberglass unit that had seen better days. Plus I feel better knowing there's less airborne pollutants from the fiberglass jacket.
